Ideal Applications
Vibratory bowl feeding answers one question better than anything else: how do you feed one part, at high volume, exactly the same way, for years?
The bowl is tooled to the part, so the geometry that orients it is machined in rather than programmed. Linear feeders and inline tracks carry parts from the bowl to the pick point, and hoppers and drive bases complete the station so it runs unattended between refills.
Because the tooling is dedicated, throughput and repeatability are as high as feeding gets and there is very little to go wrong once it is running. That is the trade: the part stays locked, and in exchange the feeder is simple and fast.
