Ideal Applications

With small or delicate parts the hard question is not whether a robot can place them. It is whether anything can present them the same way twice, and whether that still holds when the part changes next quarter.

A patented three-axis vibration platform answers it by spreading parts on a flat surface and letting EYE+ vision find the ones that landed pickable. The Asycube 240 is the size we spec most and covers small to mid parts. Step up to the Asycube 530 when parts are larger or the rate is higher. PYK+ is the newer option where flexible feeding meets bin picking.

The payoff is that a part change becomes a software change. EYE+ learns the new part and guides any robot brand, so one platform covers a whole family of part numbers. Parts from 0.1 to 150 mm are in range.

For pharma and aseptic filling the Asycube Clean 230 takes the same approach into a cleanroom (ISO 5, GMP Annex 1, 190 mm RTP, 5 to 40 mm). Send us your part and the mix and we will tell you which platform fits.

What areas do you support Asyril in?

Why do I need a feasibility study before buying a feeder?

Because flexible feeding is decided by how your part behaves in bulk, and no spec sheet answers that. The feasibility study runs your actual parts on the actual platform, so you get a yes or no, a recommended Asycube size, and a realistic rate before any money moves. It's how you avoid owning a feeder that almost works.

How does a feed study work?

Send us the parts or a drawing. The parts run on the candidate platform, you get video of them feeding, a feasibility verdict, and a recommended configuration. The study is free and it becomes the technical basis of your quote, so the feeder you buy is one that has already fed your part.

What's the smallest part an Asycube can feed? The largest?

The Asycube family covers parts from about 0.1 mm up to 150 mm. The smallest platforms handle the sub-millimeter end; the Asycube 530 takes parts from 30 to 150 mm. Send us the part and we'll confirm which platform fits.

Do you make custom platforms?

The Asycube platforms themselves are standard sizes, and that's a feature: proven hardware, fast delivery. The custom layer is everything around them: the structured plate the parts land on is engineered to your part, and M6's Technical Services builds the stands, guarding, hoppers, and integration your cell needs around the feeder.

Can EYE+ run standalone?

Yes. EYE+ is its own smart control system: camera, vision, and feeder control in one box, configured from a web browser, no PLC required. It runs the Asycube and hopper autonomously and hands pick coordinates to the robot. There's also EYE+ XTD, a standalone version that locates parts on conveyors and trays without an Asycube at all.

Does Asyril work with our robot?

Yes. Asyril publishes ready-made EYE+ robot plugins for the major brands, with FANUC and Universal Robots among the published pairings, and any robot that can take coordinates over TCP/IP can work. M6 engineers the handoff either way.

Can I use an Asycube with a different vision system?

Yes. The Asycube is a feeder, and it will work under your existing camera and software. EYE+ exists because it makes the job far easier: feeder control, vision, calibration, and part recipes are already integrated and configured from one interface. Some applications do suit an external vision architecture, so tell us what you're doing and we'll say which way to go.

Can an Asyril feeder run inside a cleanroom?

Yes. The Asycube Clean 230 is built for GMP Annex 1, classified to ISO 5, and enters through a 190 mm RTP. A standard Asycube isn't aseptic-rated.

Can I get CAD (STEP) files before ordering?

Yes. Ask us and we'll get you STEP files for the Asycube platforms and EYE+ so you can design the feeder into your cell before you commit.

How fast can I get a budgetary number?

Tell us the part and the application and we'll get you a budgetary quote you can take to management, usually within a couple of business days.
