Ideal Applications
Some operations do not need a robot. They need the operator to stop absorbing the force, because the injuries and the fatigue are what set the pace.
Torque reaction arms from 40 Nm to 7,500 Nm take the blowback off a power tool, so the reaction goes into the arm rather than a wrist. Manipulators and roll handlers lift up to 10,000 lb, which covers engine blocks, sheet, glass, and billet. AdaptiCS adds fastening error-proofing, tracking the tooltip to 0.25 in at 20 ft with no PLC programming.
GCI’s carbon-fiber arms run about 15% lighter than the steel equivalents, and the weight saved comes back as reach, so the same payload covers a bigger work envelope.
