About M6

What does M6 Revolutions do?

We represent sixteen equipment manufacturers, covering parts feeding, conveyors, presses and forming, screwdriving, grippers and vacuum, robots, sensing and safety, and ergonomic equipment. Our engineers help you choose the equipment for a project, test it on your parts where that is possible, and support it after it's installed. Our job is making those pieces fit together, whether you build it with your team, your integrator, or with us.

Which manufacturers do you represent?

Asyril, Bellco Feeders, FANUC, FlexiBowl, GCI Engineered Solutions, Industrial Kinetics, mk North America, Omron (mobile robots, vision, sensing, and safety), Orbitform, Ryze Industrial, Schmalz, Schmidt Technology, Weber, WEISS, Yaskawa, and Zimmer Group. Each one has its own page on this site covering what the line is good for, the area we cover for it, and the questions buyers ask most.

What area do you cover?

Our core territory is Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and British Columbia, and we cover California on several lines. Each manufacturer's agreement sets its own territory, so every partner page states the area for that line. Onsite technical service covers the same core area, and for project work we travel further.

Starting a project

We don't know what equipment we need yet. Can you still help?

Yes, and that is a good time to call. Bring us the application even if the equipment is undecided: the part, the step you want to automate or make easier, and the rate you need. We'll work the concept through with you and come back with options and budgetary numbers.

Is our project too small for you?

Probably not. A lot of what we do is one station, like a single feeder, a bench press, a lift assist, a screwdriving setup, or a controls upgrade on one machine. Tell us what you are trying to fix, and we will tell you whether we are the right fit.

What should we send to get a quote?

Start with the part: a drawing or STEP file, photos, and samples if the equipment has to handle it. Then give us the rate or cycle time you need, what happens right before and after this step, and the environment it runs in, such as washdown, a cleanroom, or a freezer. If the result has to be documented for an audit, mention it early, because traceability changes the equipment. A target budget and timeline help too, but send whatever you have and we will ask for the rest.

How quickly will we hear back?

An engineer usually gets back to you the same business day. For a budgetary quote you can take to management, plan on a couple of business days once we have the part and the application. Larger or more custom projects take longer, and we will tell you when to expect it.

Can we test our parts before we buy?

Yes, and the testing is free. For feeders, a feed study runs your parts on the candidate platform and comes back with video, a feasibility answer, and a recommended configuration. For presses, riveting, and forming, the joint gets developed on your parts before you buy, and grippers and vacuum cups can be tried on your samples. Send the parts and we'll tell you what the test involves for your project.

Can someone come look at our line?

Yes. Seeing the line is often the quickest way to scope a project, especially a retrofit or anything that has to fit into an existing cell. Our team travels the region regularly, so tell us where you are and we will set up a time.

Buying through M6

A manufacturer's website sent us to you. Why?

Manufacturers route inquiries to their local representative, and for the lines we carry in this region that is us. You are still buying the manufacturer's equipment with their application engineers behind it, and you get someone local who can come to your plant.

We're an integrator. Can you quote the equipment for our project?

Integrators send us RFQ packages and drawings regularly, and we return priced configurations for the equipment, often with STEP files for the layout. We can also support the build with engineering hours, programming, or startup help on the equipment we supply.

Can we get CAD files before we order?

For most of the lines we carry, yes. Tell us the model, or the size and layout you need, and we'll send STEP files, usually with the budgetary quote, so you can design the equipment into your cell before you commit. Each partner page covers what is available for that line.

Do you quote pricing for multiple units?

Yes. If you expect to buy the same workstation, feeder, or press more than once, give us the quantities when you ask for the quote and we'll include the quantity breaks.

After the sale

Do you install, program, and service the equipment you sell?

We do. Our technical services team installs and commissions equipment, programs PLCs, HMIs, and robots, retrofits controls and safety, and trains the people who run it. The Technical Services page has its own set of questions on breakdowns, installs, upgrades, and documentation.

Do you sell spare and wear parts?

Yes, including one-off orders. We stock common wear items on the lines that need them, such as conveyor belts, screwdriving bits, and feed components, so a worn part stays a quick call. When a part ships from a factory overseas, we will give you the lead time up front, and if your line is down we'll ask the factory about faster shipping.

Where do we get a manual, cut sheet, or utility requirements for equipment we bought?

Ask us. Send your order or quote number, or a photo of the nameplate, and we'll get you the manual, cut sheet, or electrical and air requirements from the manufacturer.

We bought equipment years ago. Can you quote another one or a replacement?

Usually. Send the model and serial number from the nameplate, or the original quote if you still have it. We'll check it against the current models, quote the closest match, and point out what has changed since the original was built.
